Spending time immersed in a community with the intention to serve and enrich those surrounding you is an excellent way to deepen your understanding of the world and your purpose within it. Eighteen Hundreds Co. was born in the heart of Gastown, Vancouver and we believe that uplifting our community is an important part of business and life.
As a way of supporting our community, we have partnered with non-profit organization, Union Gospel Mission based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The UGM is a charitable organization that provides meals, education, shelter, safe and affordable housing, drug and alcohol recovery programs, and support services to those struggling with poverty, homelessness and addiction.
We donate $1 from every candle sold online to help this cause. You can take comfort not only in the essence of our creations, but in knowing that you can help transform a community, one life at a time.
